Tracy's profile

Tracy C. Gold loves writing about families and nature. She is an author, freelance editor, and mom living in Baltimore, Maryland. Her published and forthcoming picture books include “Everyone’s Sleepy but the Baby,” “Call Your Mother,” “Trick or Treat, Bugs to Eat,” and “Hide and Seek, Nuts to Eat.” She also writes short stories, essays, novels, and poems. 
Tracy's short stories, essays, and poems have been published in several magazines and anthologies, including "Erase the Patriarchy! An Anthology of Erasure Poetry" and "The Female Complaint," an anthology of short stories by women . When Tracy is not working on her own writing, she helps other people become better writers as a freelance editor and teacher. She is currently leading creative writing courses through Johns Hopkins Odyssey continuing education program. Tracy earned her M.F.A. in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts and taught writing at the University of Baltimore. She also learned a lot about publishing as an intern for literary agent Carrie Pestritto. She earned her B.A. in English from Duke University.
