I construct site-specific outdoor and indoor installations which sometimes incorporate video. I also make artist books using collage drawings and etchings. I have collaborated with writers, composers, musicians and actors.
Exhibitions include: The Art Museum of the Americas, Organization of American States, Washington, DC; the Ellipse Art Center, Arlington, VA; the Hemicycle Gallery at the Corcoran Museum of Art in Washington, DC; the Rosenberg Gallery, Goucher College: Stevenson University; Baltimore; the bi-annual sculpture competition at the Evergreen House of Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore; Montpelier Arts Center in Laurel, MD; the Adkins Arboretum in Ridgely, MD; the Arlington Arts Center, Arlington, VA. I've also exhibited work in Germany, France, Iceland, Japan and Ireland.
Among the awards I've received are three Maryland State Arts Council Grants; a Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation Creative Fellow for a VCCA residency; and a finalist for the Virginia Commission for the Arts, Individual Artist Fellowship Award for Sculpture; several faculty development grants from the Maryland Institute College of Art; residencies in France, Iceland, Germany, Ireland and several in the US.
