Nether is a Baltimore born/based street artist and mural painter driven by rouge beautification and strategic action aimed at sparking conversation on ignored issues & neighborhoods. In a broken city radical actions are needed to bring attention to ignored urban issues and help cement our cities threatened subcultures. Many of pieces that you find around the city dignify and bring attention to marginalized communities and the forces that have brought the city to its current state. Nether's work is as a social documentarian of the struggles, history and dilemmas that Baltimore faces. The quest is merely an attempt to reclaim and recycle the tragic landscape, bring out our city’s pride, and capture the beautiful chaos that is Baltimore.
