Jessie's profile

JESSIE LEHSON received her MFA from the Rinehart School of Sculpture in 2008 and her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2002. She is a sculptor and installation artist who often uses soil and other natural materials as a medium. Lehson lives and works in Baltimore, MD. She is a 2009 Maryland State Arts Council grant recipient and recently was honored in the Trawick Prize. Her work has been exhibited at the Fraser Gallery in Bethesda, MD; The Baltimore Museum of Art; the Greater Reston Art Center; Minima Gallery in Philadelphia, PA; DUMBO Art Center in Brooklyn, NY; McLean Project for the Arts in Mclean, VA; Delaware Center for the Contemporary; Flashpoint Gallery in Washington, DC; Zuni Gallery, Ferarra, Italy and Maryland Art Place.
