Baker Artist Portfolios

Jayson Edward Carter is a multidisciplinary visual artist living and working in Baltimore, MD. During his undergraduate studies at Towson University, Carter utilized video, photography and installation to develop his formal, conceptual and technical vocabulary.  His BFA Thesis, "No Fats No Fems," was a multimedia installation that explored virtual identity politics and the semiotics of the selfie. Carter has been included in local, national and international exhibitions and publications while enrolled at Towson and was an organizer for his senior exhibition, "Exodus," at Maryland Art Place. He currently works as a Photo Retoucher with Under Armour.
