Baker Artist Portfolios

Ellen Burchenal is an artist who makes paintings and drawings.  An adjunct instructor in the MICA Senior Thesis program, she is also the coordinator/faculty for the MICA Italy Summer program, and visiting faculty for the MICA @SACI Honors Studio program in Florence, Italy. The recipient of a NEA residency grant, an AIA Honors Award, and six Maryland State Arts Council Artist Fellowships, Burchenal has exhibited and lectured in galleries and universities throughout the region and in Italy.  She mostly lives and works in Baltimore.
