Eileen O'Donnell pursued her love of clay and the art of ancient cultures at Moore College of Art and Design, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture. She has been awarded grants from Creative Capital, the Louisiana Art Works, and most recently, an honorarium from the Deutsch Foundation 2020 Artist Retreat. Her work has been featured throughout the country in solo and juried exhibitions. She has carried her three dimensional design skills into her work as a production designer on independent films. This year she directed her first short film, which she production designed as well. She continues her sculptural work in her studio at the Baltimore Clayworks, where she has worked as a teacher and cleaning volunteer.
