Back when I was freelance illustrating my best clients were ad agencies located on North Charles Steet. Dawn's Office Supply was part of the neighborhood. The store was founded by a Korean War Vet who lost his eyesight during the war. He had a German Shepherd seeing eye dog that he adored named Dawn. The store was named after her. This oversized resin head was mounted on the top of their delivery van as a clever form of advertising. I rescued Dawn from the store when they were moving the last things out last summer.
